Waikato

AIESEC Waikato was first established in 1982 at the University of Waikato. Since then we have established relations with many of the different faculties and schools within the university.

Currently residing in the Waikato Management School, AIESEC Waikato and the Waikato Management School entered a more formal partnership in late 2009 to foster leadership experiences for AIESEC Waikato members.

In 2010, AIESEC Waikato sent out 22 University of Waikato students to countries such as China, Romania, the Czech Republic, the Philippines and Poland in varying types of internships. These include community development work and teaching English in schools.

Backed by a strong Board of Advisors consisting of the CEO of the Waikato Chamber of Commerce, a Senior Partner of Deloitte in Hamilton and John Gallagher the Executive Director of the Gallagher Group Ltd, AIESEC Waikato's external network includes an immerse array of partners and sponsors including Lightwire, Print House Ltd and Domino's Pizza Hillcrest.

Lastly, the IGNITE Leadership Programme AIESEC Waikato offers to its members incorporates leadership development, professional networking and developmental opportunities to further succeed in your chosen career. For more information please contact Eva Hau on 0211796727 or email eva.hau@aiesec.org.nz
